Today has seen five new free text messaging services added to our directory at TextMeFree.com. Four of these services are worldwide and the other gives free SMS to India.
Free SMS to Indian Mobile Phones
At TextMeFree.com we test all the services that we can, but obviously we can’t test to every country. The Indian service is called 99notout and gives unlimited SMS to any mobile phone in India, this one we weren’t able to test. You need to register to use the service and you can find out more here:

International Free SMS Services
The other four free sms services that were added today are all able to send messages to most countries, but they have different limits.
Sendmassage.com despite its mis-spelling did work to the UK, although failed when tested to Spain. There is no limit on the amount of text you can send but we found this service to be the least well performing of those added today.

SMS-World.com give free SMS to many countries (it’s listed under the Worldwide category as it seems to have most countries covered). When we tested this service all the texts arrived, and they arrived very quickly. There is no limit on the amount of free texts you can send but there is a limit on frequency, you can send one text every hour.

TalkSMS.com give one free SMS every day and in order to get them you need to register and add a photo to your profile. Then you will automatically have one free SMS added to your account every day. Again, when tested this service worked well.

uSMS2ME.com is another worldwide service. This one gives 2 free sms when you register but after that you have to earn more free SMS. You can do that by adding content to the website in the form of SMS jokes and resources and by recommending friends to also join. This service worked very well – the texts arrived within seconds of being sent.
